If it is processed on a CNC lathe, it is much more convenient. If you are processing external threads on a common lathe, you can use the following methods:

1: First, the cone car is good.

2: Reverse the thread turning tool, please note that the turning tool should still be aligned with the center. It may be much higher than the normal loading.　

3: Open the car.

4: Cutting from the root of the thread (in the direction of the head) to the head of the thread (in the direction of the bed).

5: After starting the cutting, use the middle carriage to advance the knife with appropriate force.

If you cut it repeatedly, you can drive the thread smoothly. Please pay attention to the fact that the general English thread is turned by the method of opening and closing, but the reverse car here is just the opposite of the usual one. Think about it every time you drive. Is it still a good way to reverse the car?
