Today let’s talk about how to produce a stainless steel merchant coupling. The couplings are made of pipes. Each coupling has regular dimensions such as outer diameter and length. Although it’s a very simple accessory in pipe connection. There are many steps to produce each piece.

First of all, cut the pipe into fixed length by using cutting machine.　　

Secondly, remove sharp edges by a special chamfering machine.　　

Thirdly, process female thread including BSP, DIN, and NPT. Different clients have different requirements. We will process the correct screws for each customer. Our technicians have extensive experiences in this area, and they clearly know how to make a perfect thread for merchant couplings.　　

Fourthly, surface polish or mirror polish. Some customers don't need this step. The natural surface of stainless steel is acceptable.　　

Fifthly, clean the coupling with special cleaning fluid. After that, the merchant coupling becomes bright and clean.

The last step is package. Put the couplings into a small plastic bag, and put the bags into a carton, then make a pallet.
